Motor Test

Today we tested the motor that we bought.

We connected the shaft of the motor to a drill and the connections to a light.

We were hoping that this would power the light but it did not work.

We tried spinning the shaft in both directions with the drill and also swapped the wire connections just to make sure.

We will test the motor to see if it actually works as a motor by using the battery holder and connecting it with wires to the motor and hopefully the motor shaft will spin.

If we cannot use this motor we will be making our own generator, using magnets and wire.
